Jane was 17 years old when she felt called to serve God and direct the Junior High Ministry at Preakness. It was because of the importance of her own active youth group in high school, she eagerly accepted. As a volunteer for almost 10 years, her ministry grew to eventually include Senior High Ministry and Children's Ministry. Jane devoted many of her weekends helping young people grow in their relationship with each other and especially Jesus Christ while working full time in the banking field.
After her son Justin was born in 1981, God called her to join the staff of Preakness Baptist part time and continue her work with the children and youth. During the next 10 years, Jane became very involved with programs through Group Publishing in Loveland, Colorado, which enabled her to become more equipped to teach children and young people the importance of becoming actively involved in their Christian walk. At the same time, Jane became certified in Junior and Senior High Ministry and as an Advanced Speaker for Group.
In 1991, after several months of prayer, Jane took a full time position as an Associate Pastor for Van Riper in Fair Lawn. There her responsibilities grew to include various other aspects of ministry with an emphasize on children and youth ministry and a summer fun camp.
Four years later, the Lord called Jane back to Preakness Baptist Church where she serves to this day. It was her joy to serve for almost 10 years with Pastor Herbert Dorfman, where she had the opportunity to grow in all aspects of ministry, including administration, visitation, worship and preaching.
Although Jane's passion will always be working with the children and youth of our
world, in April 2005 she began a new phase of her ministry, serving as Co-
Jane lives in Wayne and has two children; Justin who lives in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania with his wife, Brooke and their son Cash Hendrix; and Jenna, who is attending Susquehanna University in Seligsgrove, Pennsylvania.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of goof report, if there is any virtue and if anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things.”
